Current music:Lily Allen "LDN", apparently.

Gem.
What follows is a sleep-deprived ramble on random songs from that site below. Enter at your own risk!

Jarvis Cocker's "Cunts Are Still Running The World" is brilliant. Why did nobody mention it before?

There's a band called CSS? Oh God, Sub Pop, what were you thinking signing these guys? This is comically terrible. I'm seriously cracking up here, maybe it's just being overtired--no...it's not that. I've heard drunks screaming shit on the corner that sounded hundreds of times better than this terrible pseudo-art rock crap.

Next up? The new Fat Joe featuring a whole bunch of random guys who I've never heard of before. Seriously, compared to that last band--well, Fat Joe sounds like Mozart. Still, this is unlistenably bad. These guys would make a better comedy troupe than anything else.

Next...Massive Attack. Wow, these guys have mellowed out (how is that even possible?), I don't get the feeling that they're even trying anymore. They just grab people off the street and throw synth strings under random bambling.

Next? Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Not unlistenable, I'll give it that. Okay, the lyrics are just, 'Satan' a hundred thousand times over. These guys have won me over.

Oh dear god, The Streets is fabulous. I totally forgot about this guy. Well done, sir.
"When you're a famous boy
It gets really easy to get girls
It's all so easy you get a bit spoilt
So when you try to pull a girl
Who is also famous too
It feels just like when you wasn't famous"

This Charlotte Gainsbourg song is all right.... The strings backing this song really reminds me of a Serge Gainsbourg track. I can't place it right now. I kind of like it, I wonder if I'm giving her a fair shake, seeing as who her dad is.

This Beirut song is really playful. I like the instrumentation. Actually, I'd really like this for travelling music, I think.

Dinosaur Junior, I forgot about you. I'm sorry, but I'll love you forever if you'll take me back. I haven't listened to these guys since I was about 15. Time machine!!

Mark Ronson? This Just cover is pretty good. Seriously, it's a funky ska-influenced cover of a Radiohead song, I mean.... I don't know what they were going for this track, but it's hilarious and ha, ha, ha. I've decided I love this guy. Oh my God! Terrible trumpet solo! I need to download this.

Note to self: Patrick Wolf, unlistenable.

Well, I have a soft spot for rap songs where the person's name is the first lyric. So, I guess I have to give this Young Jeezy track the two thumbs up. "The game never stops, who's next to play?" Tell it like it is, Jeezy.

The National: very boring. Sounds like The Arcade Fire without the 'fire'.

Camera Obscura, I like these guys. I think I've heard them before. They sound like what Belle and Sebastian would sound like if the lead singer could sing on key. It sounds like my computer is streaming music directly from the 70s.

The Hold Steady? Meh.

The Rosebuds, really boring. Sounds like they were trying to write a hook and just couldn't. They sound like every other band with a disco beat and boring instrumentation.

Young Buck should do an album with Tom Waits. Actually no, that would be horrible.

Of Montreal, I love you guys. Come over anytime.

Lil Scrappy? Hey, this track is featuring Young Buck. Young Buck and Lil Scrappy on one track! 50% more crunk than the leading national brand! Good work, fellas. "I got money in the bank, showdem whatcho drink."

M.I.A.--this is horrible. It's original though, I don't think anyone's tried to write music like this before, at first, I didn't even recognize it as such. If I was falling out of an airplane with no chute and I wanted something so grating that it would take the edge off of falling to my death, I'd want this song. Should do a collaboration with Young Buck.

Maximo Park, generic and decent as always.

Hey neat, The Decemberists. Hai gais! (That's interstupid speak for, "hi guys!")

Love Is All, can't stand the vocalists. Catchy though.

Skipped: Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, Redman.

The Little Ones: they sound like everyone else, not bad though.

Hey, Field Music is kind of cool. These guys have the first polyrhythm of the day. 10 points. Although, maybe the drummer didn't mean to do that. Either way.

Besnard Lakes: decent.

Graham Coxon: ugh, can't take...so mundane.

Menomena: neat, Pema would really like these guys. I like the drummer, nice production. This would be good summer music.

Skipped: Nas.

Arcade Fire, a pleasure as always.

Muse: great music, fucking horrible lyrics as always. Why did these guys decide to start dressing like standard trendy emo rockers?

The Roots still got it. Wow, really well done track, still kicking rhymes wicked like it ain't no thing.

Lil Wayne is still Lil, Eminem is still angry about something, !!! still sounds like always.

Today's winner? Spank Rock, I haven't even heard the song yet, but with titles like, "Back Yard Betty" and "Put That Pussy On Me" I think this guy really has discovered something.

That whole album is actually pure gold. Jarvis, not CSS! Dunno if you're interested in a ticket for May 1, but I may have extras.

I like the newish Muse stuff, but I miss Matt Bellamy's vinyl suits and intensely retarded hair.

Why can't rockstars dress like they have just stepped off a spaceship from Mars anymore?
